Creativity and Problem Solving Questions

Tests the candidate's ability to find novel and pragmatic solutions to ambiguous or constrained problems. Topics include framing ambiguous problems, generating and evaluating multiple hypotheses, proposing low cost experiments or prototypes, balancing constraints with inventive approaches, iterating on solutions, and clearly communicating the rationale for non conventional ideas. Interviewers look for structured thinking that still allows imaginative alternatives and the ability to apply creative approaches within program constraints.
