Cryptographic Agility and Evolution Questions
Designing systems and protocols that can evolve cryptographic algorithms and parameters without breaking compatibility or reducing security. Coverage includes defining upgrade and deprecation policies, protocol version negotiation, hybrid and transitional modes, key and parameter migration procedures, key and metadata tagging strategies, compatibility and interoperability testing, telemetry and monitoring for cryptographic usage, rollback and emergency patch procedures, and operational practices for staged rollouts.
