• What are the authoritative data sources and the expected schema? Any recent changes?
• Which cells are business-critical vs exploratory? Which results are used downstream?
• What assumptions or filters are implicit (time ranges, currency, dedup rules)?
• Have you validated totals/metrics against known reports?
• Are there edge cases (late-arriving data, nulls) and how are they handled?
• What testing/monitoring is planned post-deploy? Who owns alerts?

Approval criteria

• Approve if: notebook reproducibly runs, data lineage is clear, key transforms have simple sanity tests/assertions, outputs match known business metrics, no secrets embedded, and owner documents assumptions + rollback plan.
• Request changes if: critical transforms are opaque without comments/tests, missing validation for key metrics, hard-coded constants, or potential data-source ambiguity — require targeted tests and clearer docs before approving.
• Delay deployment if: results disagree with authoritative reports, transforms could silently corrupt downstream data (e.g., incorrect joins), performance/security issues, or no owner/monitoring exists — require deeper investigation and staging validation.
