Influencing Product Strategy Questions
Focuses on how practitioners translate user insights, design research, and evidence into strategic product decisions and roadmap priorities. Candidates should demonstrate concrete examples of influencing what gets built through research findings, design thinking, prototypes, experiments, or synthesis of user needs; how they framed recommendations for product leaders and executives; how they navigated stakeholder dynamics and trade offs; and how their influence changed roadmap priorities, prevented costly mistakes, or shifted business direction. Assessors will look for communication and storytelling techniques, frameworks used to prioritize and present evidence, collaboration with cross functional partners, methods for validating recommendations, and measurable outcomes from those strategic influences.
