Technical Direction and Greenfield Opportunities Questions

Focuses on understanding the team and product technical priorities, the current technology stack, architecture and architectural direction, and whether there are opportunities to build new systems or substantially refactor existing ones. Interviewers will evaluate your interest and ability to contribute to greenfield work, design new components, make architecture tradeoffs, and take ownership of technically ambiguous projects. At senior and staff levels this also covers your ability to influence technical direction, evaluate technical risk, propose migration strategies, and balance short term delivery with long term platform health.
