Atlantic Health
The Womenβs Health Database Administrator supports the Women's Health Service Line through the collection, analysis, validation, and reporting of data across 5 Atlantic Health maternity centers. This role provides actionable insights to clinical and operational leaders, supports quality improvement initiatives, and ensures accurate reporting for regulatory, accreditation, benchmarking, and strategic decision-making purposes.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Manage and maintain maternity services data, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of information used for reporting and analysis.
2. Develop, maintain, analyze, and distribute reports and dashboards related to patient volume, quality measures, operational performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
3. Collaborate with service line leadership, Quality, Business Intelligence, Information Technology, and multidisciplinary stakeholders on data-driven initiatives, process improvement efforts, and reporting projects.
4. Prepare, validate, and submit data for regulatory, accreditation, and benchmarking programs
5. Perform data validation and quality assurance activities to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
6. Analyze trends and performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate findings and recommendations to clinical and operational leaders.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
2. 1-3 years of experience in Database Administration or relevant area.
Preferred:
1. 3-5 years of healthcare data analysis experience, preferably in Women's Health, obstetrics', perinatal services, or clinical quality reporting.
2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, advanced lookup functions (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP), formulas, and VBA/macros.
3.Experience working with Epic or other electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare data sources.
4. Experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational, quality, and strategic decision-making.
