As a DevOps Engineer - Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving software and product innovation within our Software Engineering family. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining efficient DevOps practices, enhancing the delivery of scalable engineering services. As a Specialist, you will provide specialized technical knowledge, handling detailed tasks and in-depth analyses to support specific projects. You will adapt to a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and consistently deliver quality results that drive value for clients and contribute to the team's success.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network to deliver impactful solutions. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our Scaled Engineering Services, where your technical skills will be leveraged to optimize software engineering processes. Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing software solutions using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++
- Conducting in-depth analyses and debugging to identify and resolve software issues efficiently
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support client projects and deliver scalable engineering services
- Utilizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies to streamline software development processes
- Designing and maintaining enterprise application architectures to enhance system integration and performance
- Managing API and microservices to facilitate seamless communication between software components
- Applying Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) to validate quality assurance and software reliability
- Engaging in code reviews and adhering to coding standards to maintain software quality and consistency
- Supporting business process improvement initiatives through effective software project management and planning
- Leveraging cloud engineering and data analytics to drive innovation and optimize software solutions
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices
- Utilizing programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++
