Key Responsibilities:
-Design and develop software update frameworks (OTA/flashing mechanisms) for automotive ECUs and domain controllers
-Implement update client/agent software running on Linux/QNX/Android platforms
-Develop and maintain C++ components for update orchestration, package management, rollback mechanisms, and state machine handling
-Write and maintain shell scripts / Perl/ Python scripts for build automation, test pipelines(Robot framework), and deployment tooling
-Ensure compliance Adaptive AUTOSAR automotive standard, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
-Implement IPC communication between update agent and Android system services using Binder / AIDL / HIDL
-Implement IPC communication between update orchestration and update handler (such as socket, SOME/IP, FDBUS)
Skill/knowledge Require:
-Understanding of automotive ECU software lifecycle and flashing procedures
-Familiarity with bootloader concepts (e.g., U-Boot) and A/B partition update strategies
-Knowledge of software integrity verification (hash validation, digital signatures)
-Understanding of state machine design for update workflows (e.g., download → verify → install → activate → rollback)
-Experience in C++ software development on Linux platforms
Nice to Have Experience:
-Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform (specifically UCM – Update and Configuration Management)
-Familiarity with SOME/IP service discovery
-Prior experience in automotive software update systems is a strong plus
-Familiarity with security compliance mechanism of QNX(secpol) and Android(SeLinux)
-Experience with Yocto Project layer development
Soft Skills:
-Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
-Ability to work in cross-functional teams (hardware, system, cloud, testing teams)
-Good documentation habits, doc-as-code (design specs, interface specs)
-Effective communication in English (technical discussions, reviews)
-Ability to work independently and manage tasks in Agile/Scrum environment (SAFe)
