Connect Claude, Codex, Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf to InterviewStack. It finds roles that genuinely fit your resume and saves the best ones to your tracker, running free on a local open model, with your resume never leaving your machine.
Every posting is de-duped, the real hiring company identified, and salary, location, work mode and seniority normalized, then mapped to 80+ defined roles. Your AI filters clean, classified data, not keyword noise.
Run the matching on a local open model (Ollama + Qwen, Llama): no API keys, no per-token bills, and your resume stays on your machine. Or use the assistant you already pay for.
Set it once: every morning your assistant finds fresh matches and saves the best to your applications, each with a concrete note on why it fits. You review and apply.
Teradyne
Our Purpose
TERADYNE, where experience meets innovation and driving excellence in every connection. We are fueled by creativity and diversity of thought and in our workforce. Our employees are supported to innovate and learn something new every day. We cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees that respects their individual strengths, views, and experiences. We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team – one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.
Universal Robots, part of Teradyne Robotics, is the world market leader in collaborative robots (cobots), making products that empower our customers and positively transform the way they work. Teradyne Robotics is a division of Teradyne and includes Universal Robots and Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR). Our global R&D organization of 200+ engineers builds the software and systems behind every cobot we ship.
Opportunity Overview
You will join a team of talented and passionate engineers developing, testing, and optimizing the software and firmware running on our various robot platforms.
As a Robotics Engineer on the Simulation team, you will build the pipelines and infrastructure that let us simulate UR cobots and MiR mobile robots at scale — before a single unit is deployed on a customer floor. Simulation is central to how we reduce integration time, validate fleet behaviour, and let customers model their own environments and workflows ahead of deployment.
This is a hands-on engineering role sitting at the intersection of robotics and software infrastructure. You will work with ROS2, physics engines, and GPU-accelerated simulation to turn real robotic systems into faithful virtual ones, and you will build the tooling, services, and pipelines that make those simulations reliable, repeatable, and fast. You will collaborate closely with research scientists working on world models and 3D scene generation, with application engineers who understand real customer deployments, and with the wider R&D organization in Denmark and Bangalore.
Your responsibilities and tasks include:
Design, build, and maintain the simulation pipeline and supporting infrastructure used to model UR and MiR robot platforms in virtual environments.
Develop and maintain accurate robot models — kinematics, dynamics, sensors, and controllers — ensuring simulated behaviour faithfully reflects real hardware.
Implement and optimise ROS2-based integrations so simulated robots interoperate seamlessly with the same software stack that runs on physical systems.
Build scalable simulation infrastructure across cloud and on-premises GPU environments, including job orchestration, environment versioning, and resource management.
Develop tooling and services that allow engineers, application teams, and customers to configure, launch, monitor, and analyse simulation runs.
Build capabilities for importing customer models and environments, and for creating custom scenarios and workflows.
Contribute to multi-agent simulation supporting fleet-level coordination, zone layout, and multi-robot interaction scenarios.
Establish automated testing, validation, and benchmarking frameworks that measure simulation fidelity and tie results to integration time and fleet performance.
Work with research scientists to integrate world models and generated 3D scenes into production simulation workflows.
Write clean, well-tested, and documented code, and participate actively in code reviews to uphold engineering standards across the team.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling that keep simulation systems reliable and continuously validated.
Partner with product, application, and customer-facing teams to translate real deployment challenges into simulation capabilities.
All About You
We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. Our commitment to customer success drives us to go the extra mile. If you're ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.
We value diversity in culture, competence, and experience. We expect you to bring a number of qualifications to be considered for this role.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
2+ years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent working on robotics systems.
Strong programming proficiency in Python and C++, with a demonstrated ability to write production-quality, maintainable code.
Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS2, including building nodes, working with the middleware, and integrating with robot hardware or simulators.
Practical experience with at least one robotics simulation environment (e.g. Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Webots, or CoppeliaSim).
Solid understanding of robotics fundamentals — kinematics, dynamics, control, coordinate transforms, and sensor modelling.
Experience building and maintaining software infrastructure: APIs, services, containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Comfortable working in a Linux environment with version control, automated testing, and modern development workflows.
Proficiency required in at least five of the following qualifications:
GPU-accelerated simulation and rendering, including experience with CUDA or NVIDIA Isaac Sim / Omniverse.
Physics engines and their tuning for contact-rich or high-fidelity robotic interaction (PhysX, Bullet, ODE, MuJoCo).
Cloud infrastructure and orchestration — AWS, Azure, or GCP, with Docker and Kubernetes.
Mobile robotics concepts including SLAM, navigation stacks, path planning, and fleet management.
Manipulator robotics including motion planning, trajectory generation, and collision checking.
3D geometry, scene representation, and asset pipelines (USD, URDF, SDF, mesh processing).
Multi-agent or fleet-scale simulation and the coordination challenges it introduces.
Backend service development and distributed systems design.
Data pipelines and time-series or large-scale sensor data handling.
Machine learning workflows and experience deploying trained models into production systems.
Digital twin development and sim-to-real validation methodologies.
Real-time systems, embedded software, or robot firmware development.
Personal Attributes
Candidates should demonstrate ambition, organizational skills, and adaptability. Independence, initiative, responsibility, and ownership are vital. A pragmatic approach, commitment to continuous learning, and dedication to work quality are expected.
