직무 소개

풀필먼트 센터(FC), 캠프 및 데이터 센터의 안전하고 효율적인 엔터프라이즈 네트워크 인프라를 설계, 배포 및 유지 관리할 Staff Network Engineer를 찾고 있습니다. 이 역할은 비즈니스 요구사항을 이해하고 사용자 및 고객을 위한 네트워크 문제를 해결하며 최적화하는 네트워크 팀의 선임 역할을 수행하게 됩니다. 성공적인 업무 수행을 위해 뛰어난 문제 해결 능력, 위기 관리 능력, 그리고 타 부서와의 원활한 커뮤니케이션 및 콜라보레이션 역량이 필수적입니다. 또한, 쿠팡의 분산된 물류 인프라 환경을 지원하기 위해 현장 이동 및 출장에 제약이 없어야 하며, 글로벌 환경에서 다양한 국가의 팀원들과 유연하게 협업하고 프로젝트를 완수할 수 있는 역량이 요구됩니다.

업무 내용

• 풀필먼트 센터(FC), 딜리버리 센터(캠프) 및 데이터 센터를 지원하는 엔터프라이즈 네트워크 인프라(LAN, WLAN, WAN, Network Security)를 설계, 기획, 구축 및 유지 관리
• FC 설계 팀과 협력하여 확장 가능하고 탄력적이며 비용이 최적화된 네트워크 아키텍처를 개발
• 자동화, 로보틱스, FC 운영, 인프라, 보안 및 기타 IT 팀, 외부 벤더와 협력하여 비즈니스 요구사항을 파악하고 효과적인 네트워크 솔루션 제공
• 심각한 인시던트 및 서비스 중단 시 기술적 대응을 주도하며, 복잡한 네트워크, 무선, WAN 및 보안 관련 문제(위기 관리 및 문제 해결)를 해결
• 네트워크 성능, 가용성 및 트래픽 데이터를 심층적으로 분석하여 잠재적 문제를 선제적으로 예방하고 인프라를 지속적으로 최적화
• 네트워크 표준, 아키텍처 설계서, 운영 가이드 및 장애 보고서(RCA) 등 고품질의 기술 문서화를 수행하고 자산화

자격 요건

• 대규모 엔터프라이즈 네트워크 설계, 기획, 구축 및 운영 관련 경력 최소 10년 이상 보유하신 분
• 통신 프로토콜(TCP/IP 등), 라우팅 프로토콜(예: BGP, OSPF), 스위칭 기술에 대한 심도 깊은 이해와 탄탄한 배경 지식을 보유하신 분
• Cisco 및 Juniper (HPE) 엔터프라이즈 스위칭 및 무선 인프라 기술에 대한 전문성을 보유하신 분
• 엔터프라이즈 보안 및 네트워크 인프라 솔루션(Fortinet/Palo Alto/Zscaler 방화벽 및 VPN, Cisco ISE, DHCP 등)의 설계 및 운영 경험을 보유하신 분
• 네트워크 진단/모니터링 도구를 활용한 데이터 기반의 분석 능력을 갖추고, 복잡한 기술 개념을 명확한 문서로 작성할 수 있는 역량을 보유하신 분
• 예리한 문제 해결 능력 및 크리티컬 이슈 발생 시 위기 관리 능력을 갖추신 분
• 내/외부 이해관계자 및 글로벌 벤더와의 원활한 협업을 위한 강력한 커뮤니케이션 스킬을 보유하신 분

우대 사항

• 컴퓨터 공학, 정보 기술, 전자 공학 등 관련 분야 학사 이상의 학위 보유자로서 해당 직무 경력 15년 이상이신 분
• 다국적 팀/해외 멤버들과의 협업 경험이 풍부하고, 문화적 다양성에 대한 이해와 유연한 태도로 프로젝트를 성공적으로 이끈 경험이 있으신 분
• Python 스크립팅, Ansible 등을 활용한 네트워크 자동화 설계 및 운영 역량을 보유하신 분
• CCNP, JNCIP, CCIE, JNCIE 또는 이에 준하는 전문 자격증을 보유하신 분
• 물류 네트워크 환경(Logistics network environments)에서의 업무 경험이 있으신 분

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Network Engineer to design, plan, deploy, and maintain a secure and efficient enterprise network infrastructure supporting our Fulfillment Centers (FCs), Camps, and Data Centers. In this role, you will serve as a senior technical leader within the network team, driving solutions for complex network issues and optimizing the environment for our users and customers. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, crisis management skills, and strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities. As our logistics infrastructure is geographically distributed, this position requires flexibility for business travel and onsite visits, alongside a solid command of English to seamlessly collaborate with global teams and vendors.

What You Will Do

• Design, plan, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN, and Network Security) supporting Fulfillment Centers (FCs), Camps, and Data Centers.
• Partner with FC Design teams to develop scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized network architectures.
• Collaborate with Automation, Robotics, FC Operations, Infrastructure, Security, and other IT teams, as well as external vendors, to understand business requirements and deliver effective network solutions.
• Lead technical response and drive resolution during critical incidents, outages, and complex network, wireless, WAN, or security-related issues (Crisis Management & Troubleshooting).
• Deeply analyze network performance, availability, and traffic data to proactively prevent potential issues and continuously optimize infrastructure.
• Author and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including network standards, architectural blueprints, operational guides, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
• Support the deployment, integration, and operational management of automation, robotics, warehouse systems, and enterprise applications within a secure network environment.
• Manage network lifecycle activities, including capacity planning, hardware refreshes, and software maintenance to support growing businesses.
• Ensure compliance with security, software, operational, and global network standards across all infrastructure.
• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and training to team members and junior engineers.

Document Return Policy

1. This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
2. A job applicant, who has applied but not been finally selected for a position at Coupang (the “Company”), may request the Company to return his/her hiring documents submitted pursuant to the Fair Hiring Procedure Act. However, this will not apply where the hiring documents were submitted via the website of the Company or e-mail, or where the job applicant submitted those documents voluntarily without a request from the Company. In addition, if the hiring documents were destroyed due to a natural disaster or any other reasons not attributable to the Company, such documents will be deemed to have been returned to the job applicant.
3. A job applicant who wishes to request the return of his/her hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above should fill out a “Request for Return of Hiring Documents” [Annex Form No. 3 in the Enforcement Rule of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act] and submit It by email (recruitingops@coupang.com). In such case, within fourteen (14) days from the date of identifying the receipt of the request, the Company will send the hiring documents to the job applicant’s designated address via registered mail. Please be informed that the job applicant is required to pay the postage on the registered mail.
4. In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
5. The above paragraphs 1 - 4 shall only apply when the labor-related laws of Korea govern the application. They are otherwise not applicable.
