Introduction to the Role:
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Product Team and help build a reliable, scalable, and high-performance data platform. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and transformation processes that empower analytics, BI, and product teams with accurate and timely data.
What you'll do?
Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
Build and support Data Warehouse (DWH), Data Lake, and Lakehouse solutions
Automate and orchestrate workflows using Airflow and dbt
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across platforms
Optimize SQL queries and large-scale data processing performance
Prepare datasets and data marts for Analytics, BI, and ML teams
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data platform reliability
Collaborate closely with Product, Analytics, Engineering, and business stakeholders
Who are we looking for?
Must to have
Hard skills
2β4 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, DWH Engineer, or similar role
Strong SQL knowledge (complex queries, CTEs, window functions, optimization)
Solid Python skills for data processing and ETL development
Hands-on experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
Experience building and maintaining Data Warehouses
Understanding of data modeling principles (Star/Snowflake schemas, normalization)
Experience with dbt and ELT approaches
Knowledge of Git and software development best practices
Soft skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Clear and transparent communication skills
Proactive and result-oriented attitude
Adaptability and willingness to work in a fast-changing environment
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

The following qualifications would be a plus:

Knowledge of distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark, PySpark, or Apache Beam
Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, and Bash scripting
Understanding of Data Governance, data lineage, and data security concepts
