We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional Agile software development team responsible for delivering enterprise multimedia solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership with exceptional people management skills, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence. This individual will work closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and senior leadership to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional Agile engineering team
Manage project execution, sprint planning, resource allocation, and delivery commitments
Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Partner with Product Management to prioritize work and align engineering efforts with business objectives
Remove roadblocks and enable the team to deliver predictable, high-quality software
Drive engineering best practices including code reviews, architectural discussions, CI/CD, and DevOps initiatives
Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and coaching
Collaborate with QA to ensure quality is integrated throughout the development lifecycle
Monitor engineering metrics and continuously improve team effectiveness
Reuired:
5+ years of software engineering experience
2+ years leading engineering teams in an Agile environment
Strong understanding of software architecture and distributed systems
Experience managing Scrum teams
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Experience balancing technical debt, feature delivery, and operational excellence
Preferred:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience leading enterprise SaaS or cloud-native applications
Familiarity with multimedia technologies, VoIP, SIP, RoIP, or public safety applications
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
