As an APS6 UX/UI Designer, you will apply specialist experience design expertise to help shape and improve digital products and services used by participants, providers and staff.
Working with a high degree of independence, you will lead pieces of design work, contribute to complex initiatives and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate user needs into accessible and effective solutions.
You will contribute across the end-to-end design lifecycle including research, interaction design, interface design, prototyping, validation and implementation support. You will also help improve consistency, quality and knowledge across the Agency through the development of reusable patterns, design system assets, design specifications, standards and knowledge assets.
The role requires strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, sound professional judgement and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. You will actively contribute to contemporary design practices and leverage emerging tools and methods to improve delivery effectiveness while maintaining a strong focus on user outcomes, accessibility and quality.
Experience Designers are expected to contribute to both delivery outcomes and the ongoing development of organisational capability through reusable assets, standards, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
