Senior iOS Engineer
Capital One's interview process for mid-level iOS Software Engineers is a structured, 4-stage progression spanning 2-5 weeks. The process begins with an initial recruiter screening call to assess background and role fit, followed by a timed online coding assessment via CodeSignal (1.5 hours). Successful candidates advance to Capital One's "Power Day"—a comprehensive 3-4 hour virtual onsite consisting of four separate technical and behavioral interviews: a live coding assessment (1 hour, medium-difficulty iOS algorithm problems), a system design round (1 hour, mobile architecture and scalability), a behavioral interview (1 hour, Capital One values and teamwork), and a case study round (1 hour, logical reasoning and business judgment). Following Power Day, if multiple teams are interested, you'll participate in brief conversations with hiring managers to select your preferred team before receiving an offer. The process is fully centralized with standardized evaluation, ensuring consistent assessment across all candidates.
