Example (concise - mid-sprint shift + critical bug):
Situation: Mid-sprint, Product added a regulatory requirement that changed a core data-flow; simultaneously a critical serialization bug made our planned refactor unsafe.
Action (what the engineer did):

• Quickly triaged and reproduced the bug, created a minimal rollback branch to protect main.
• Convened a 15-minute alignment with PM, QA, and two engineers to surface constraints and options.
• Proposed a phased approach: 1) hotfix to unblock release (serialization fallback + tests), 2) implement the regulatory change as an isolated service wrapper to avoid touching fragile code, 3) schedule a refactor in next sprint.
