Cloud architecture patterns and how they map to Microsoft Azure platform services. Candidates should understand stateless versus stateful service design, autoscaling and load balancing patterns, caching and storage trade offs, messaging and event driven architectures, container orchestration and serverless compute options, virtual networking and connectivity, multi region redundancy and failover strategies, and how to choose managed services for databases and storage with an eye to cost operational complexity security and performance. Candidates should also be able to describe how infrastructure as code and deployment automation interact with cloud services in Azure.
