Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and oversee sales operations across the Eastern region of Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the FMCG sector, with a proven track record in selling biscuits, confectionery, or sweets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive growth, manage key accounts, and lead a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Eastern region to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed individual and regional sales goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
Ensure consistent implementation of trade marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
Analyze sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector, with a focus on biscuits, confectionery, or sweets.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel frequently within the Eastern region.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
