Company Background

We are representing our client, a new start-up in Malaysia that operates a Loan-Matching Platform, in their search for a Business Development Manager (Loan Advisory)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers after handover by Customer Relationship Officer and verify the accuracy and completeness of submitted documents
  • Identify any missing documentation required by lenders and provide clear guidance to customers for submission
  • Assess customer financial profiles to recommend suitable and responsible loan solutions tailored to their needs
  • Advise customers on repayment feasibility in line with lenders criteria and individual affordability
  • Maintain effective communication with customers
  • Schedule and conduct customer meetings to drive loan approvals and close deals
  • Lead and mentor a subordinate, fostering a disciplined, self-motivated, and high-performing team environment
  • Report regularly on progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance approval rates, streamline processes, and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in any related fields
  • Minimum 57 years in agency sales, consumer finance, bank loan sales, or similar fields
  • Knowledge of Debt Service Ratio assessment or willingness to learn
  • Basic understanding of bank lending criteria
