Position: Senior Engineering Manager of Hermetic Solutions

Location:Prachinburi/Tongling

Reports To:ProductEngineering Director

Position Summary

Lead the Engineering team for Hermetic Solutions in Asia, overseeing product development projects that include design modifications, testing, sample builds, design change control, and design drafting. Provide engineering support for production and quality. Provide engineering support for production and quality assurance. Deliver product design training to the global engineering team, ensuring that all product development activities align with relevant policies and company objectives.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead the whole teamto conduct all engineering projects and activities, ensure adherenceto relevant policies and procedures.
• Manage the overall implementation of engineering projects for Hermetic Solutions, including defining project scope, setting objectives, planning, forming project teams, controlling costs, and assigning resources.
• Collaborate closely with the new product development and sales teams to develop new products based on technology upgrades and customer requirements update.
• Provide engineering support for projects regarding productivity improvement, manufacturing upgrades, cost reductions, and sourcing localization or alternative solutions.
• Collaborate across functions to address the issues during the processes from product design, testing, validation, manufacturing or production.
• Manage the product design change(ECN/TEC) and coordinate with related functions for the changeimplementation.
• Establish and maintain laboratory and testing facilities to comply with engineering standards.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering.
• Over 10 years of relevant work experience and at least 3 years in managerial role.
• Experience with glass to metal seal processes should be a must.
• Sound professional knowledge of engineering theory and design practices.
• Familiarity with project management principles and Six Sigma are preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Proficient in product design, testing, and application, awareness of production process flow.
• Be available to travel Prachinburi, Thailand or Tongling, China.
