About This Role:
Veranex has an exciting opportunity to join the People Operations Team at Veranex. You will be responsible for planning and executing day-to-day activities to fill positions in US and OUS, contributing to strategy on building employee branding, recommending and implementing process improvements, and training hiring managers. This position is a hybrid role in Raleigh, NC.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner closely with hiring managers to efficiently fill positions with candidates meeting required qualifications and competencies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the recruitment process.
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates for highly-specific technical positions, using Boolean logic, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI, and other sourcing tools.
- Conduct candidate screens to evaluate technical qualifications, experience, and alignment with Veranex core value pillars: Fearless Innovation, Better Together, Communication is Key, Leaders at Every Level, and Act with Integrity.
- Manage requisitions across multiple research and corporate disciplines, i.e., engineering, clinical, preclinical, regulatory affairs, product commercialization
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date position requisitions and candidate records within the applicant tracking system (Dayforce).
- Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness.
- Partner with HR leadership to enhance employer branding, interview best practices, and hiring initiatives.
- Support new hire onboarding processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruiting processes and candidate experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Psychology or other relevant discipline
- 4-6 years of experience in a full cycle recruiting role, including experience corporate or agency).
- Proven ability to develop strong, trust-based relationships with hiring managers and prospective candidates
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing hard-to-fill roles using creative and data-driven strategies.
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search logic, AI and other modern sourcing tools
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- A detail-oriented and data-driven mindset and commitment to operational excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Dayforce
- Certification in employment and labor laws, and best practices, i.e. SHRM-CP
- Experience as a Team Lead
