Description

The QA Analyst at Doc2build will play a key role in maintaining the quality of our software products by identifying, documenting and tracking software defects and coordinating with the development team for their prompt resolutions. This position demands a meticulous individual with an innate aptitude for spotting inconsistencies and a fervor for maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases to verify that the software fulfills its intended purpose, is consistent, and meets both internal and external quality standards.
    • Work closely with developers to identify, isolate, and document product defects.
    • Participate in requirement and design reviews to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    • Support and maintain automated test scripts, utilizing appropriate automation tools when needed.
    • Communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to the project team and management.
    • Coordinate with the development and engineering team to resolve any issues arising in the testing process.

Qualifications:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
    • At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a QA Analyst or a related role in a software testing environment.
    • Proficiency in automated software testing tools and manual testing methodologies.
    • Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
    • Strong knowledge in databases, SQL and familiarity with scripting languages.
    • Experience with bug tracking tools and project management software.
    • Demonstrable analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
    • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
