Description
To support our continued growth in Central and Eastern Europe, we are looking for a commercially driven and technically capable Business Development Manager – Advanced Composites responsible for the markets of Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. Main Tasks and Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategies for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary Identify and develop new business opportunities within key composite markets including automotive, aerospace, industrial, marine, and renewable energy Manage and grow relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, fabricators, and engineering companies Promote a portfolio of advanced composite materials including resins, reinforcements, core materials, adhesives, and process consumables Provide technical and commercial support to customers throughout the sales cycle Develop strategic account plans and achieve sales growth targets within the assigned region Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the regional composites industry Collaborate with supplier partners to drive product positioning and market expansion Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and business development plans Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings across Central Europe Requirements Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or account management within the composites, chemicals, advanced materials, or related industries Solid knowledge about the Composites industry and understanding of composite manufacturing processes and materials Strong “hunter“ mentality Experience working within the Czech, Slovak, and/or Hungarian industrial markets is highly desirable Commercially focused with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned territory Fluent English required; knowledge of Czech, Slovak, or Hungarian would be an advantage Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Business, or related field preferred What We Offer Opportunity to join a growing, innovative and financially secured company in a high-performance materials sector An attractive remuneration and benefits package including a company car for private use Professional development and career growth opportunities Collaborative and entrepreneurial working environment Access to leading global composite material suppliers and technologies Regional responsibility with significant growth potential We are looking forward to receiving your application on our IMCD Career Portal!
