Associate Attorney - 1-5 years of litigation experience (employment law-Plaintiff) - Deposition experience (taking/defending) required

Qualifications:

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
• 15 years of litigation experience (employment law preferred)
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
• Desire to grow as a trial lawyer and litigator
• Deposition experience (taking/defending) required
• Trial or trial-prep experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your own docket of employment law cases from inception through trial
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear in court to argue motions and advocate for clients
• Engage with clients and help shape case strategy
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations
• Assist in trial preparation and serve as second chair where applicable
