Description
Jasco is looking for a Benefits & Wellness Coordinator that plays a key role in delivering a high-quality, compliant, and engaging benefits and wellness experience for Team Members. This role administers and enhances benefit and wellness programs with a strong focus on service excellence, confidentiality, and compliance. The coordinator ensures programs are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with Team Member needs.
Benefits Administration & Team Member Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all benefit-related questions, issues, and escalations.
- Administer day-to-day operations of all benefit programs, including eligibility, enrollment, and changes.
- Act as liaison between Team Members, insurance carriers and broker to resolve issues and ensure smooth utilization of plans.
- Support positive Team Member relations through clear communication and proactive problem resolution.
- Ensure timely processing of benefit invoices and assist with reconciliation against payroll deductions.
- Support the evaluation and benchmarking of benefit programs to maintain competitiveness and cost effectiveness.
- Assist in the annual review and recommendation of benefit offerings.
Benefits Communication & Education
- Educate Team Members on available benefits through orientations, presentations, and ongoing communication materials.
- Develop and deliver engaging benefit and wellness education programs, including lunch-and-learn sessions.
- Lead the Annual Open Enrollment process, including planning, communication, and execution
Compliance, Reporting & Plan Administration
- Ensure all benefit programs comply with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., ERISA, FMLA, ADA, USERRA).
- Prepare and support required filings and documentation, including Form 5500, Summary Annual Reports, Plan Amendments, and Summary Plan Descriptions.
- Maintain accurate records and provide data for audits, annual benefit census, and 401(k) reporting.
Retirement & Leave Program Management
- Administer the 401(k) and Roth plans, including processing distributions, hardships, and forfeitures.
- Ensure timely delivery of required participant notices.
- Partner with third-party administrators to ensure retirement plan compliance and accurate administration.
- Administer and track leave of absence programs and team member accommodations, including disability, FMLA, workers’ compensation, USERRA, ADA and other applicable leaves.
Wellness Program Management
- Manage and enhance the company’s wellness program, including planning, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
- Organize wellness initiatives and oversee the administration of wellness incentives.
- Coordinate wellness-related events and programs to drive engagement and participation.
- Maintain oversight of the Jasco fitness center, including vendor coordination and facility standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
- Three to five years’ previous experience in human resources, with one year of benefit and FMLA administration, is required. Previous experience with payroll and employee relations is a plus.
- One year of Paycom benefit module experience is preferred.
- Must have knowledge of ADA, FMLA, COBRA,FLSA, COBRA and other employment practices and employment/employee relations laws and regulations.
- Skills in oral and written communication, organization and employee relations.
- Ability to effectively problem solve and maintain confidentiality.
- Must have skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Canva.
- Ability to communicate and interface with all Team Members, prioritize work and convey a positive image.
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
- Ability to read and understand legal documents, memos, letters, claims, insurance policies, manuals and Policies and Procedures documentation.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
