We are looking for a Technical Engineer with strong experience in low-latency electronic trading systems to join a fast-paced, high-performance APAC Quant Solutions team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting and enhancing ultra-low latency trading infrastructure across multiple APAC markets. This includes working closely with internal engineering teams, exchanges, vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality trading solutions.

You'll also play a key role in system design, production support, and ongoing platform improvements in a highly agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Translate business and technical requirements into system changes for low-latency trading platforms
• 
  Coordinate technical changes with internal teams, vendors, exchanges, carriers, and clients
• 
  Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams on low-latency architecture design
• 
  Provide 3rd line production support for trading systems
• 
  Support deployment and enhancement of co-located trading solutions across APAC markets
• 
  Work with global teams to define and implement best practices and standards
• 
  Build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders across regions

Requirements

• 
  Strong experience in Python and Linux/Unix environments (including shell scripting)
• 
  Solid understanding of FIX protocol in electronic trading
• 
  Experience in low-latency trading systems and infrastructure
• 
  Familiarity with trading technologies (e.g., market data systems, exchange protocols such as OUCH, Arrowhead, HKEX protocols)
• 
  Strong knowledge of equities trading platforms and full trading lifecycle
• 
  Experience working with stock exchanges and market data/trading infrastructure
• 
  Exposure to front, middle, and back-office systems
• 
  Strong communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders
• 
  Around 5+ years of experience in electronic trading or financial technology

  Experience with co-location environments

  FPGA or ultra-low latency optimization exposure
• 
  Regional APAC exchange connectivity experience
