Our client a Leading Market Making firm is looking to hire a Senior System Engineer to join their team. Working on the latest technology and tooling to optimize the firms efficiencies and capabilities.

Summary:

• Optimize company cloud infrastructure architecture to achieve best network performance for the trading systems
• Provide technical support (Linux systems)
• Problem solving network or Linux related challenges
• Participate in infrastructure architecture design and planning

Required skill set

• 8+ years working experience in a Linux production support and cloud environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Extensive experience using Terraform, Bash and Python.
• Good communication skills
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive documentation for knowledge transfer
