As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The work is focused on meeting unique business requirements by applying innovative approaches and continuously improving software performance and reliability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Assist in documenting software design and development processes to support knowledge sharing.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in OpenText ECM Tools.
- Experience in software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize software components.
- Familiarity with integration of enterprise content management systems within broader IT environments.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in OpenText ECM Tools.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
