Description

  • Review complete customer enquiry of technical and commercial specifications.
  • Responsible for accurate sizing, design selection, and error free proposal preparation.
  • Determine competitor sizing and product information for strategy development.
  • Confers with manufacturing team to assure processes, techniques and time schedule will meet customer needs.
  • Preparation of the project costing in detail.
  • Handling technical and commercial queries from customer.
  • Coordinates with customers, Outside Sales, Sales Representatives to convince customer of the value addition on purchasing the solutions offered.
  • Upon receipt of order, transfer of complete project details (CORB) post order to PM and assist in post order technical issues.
  • Update Sales tools (Salesforce) on regular basis.

 


Desired skills

 

  • Experience in technical sales, preferably control valves or other mechanical related equipment; or one to two years related experience either in power plant, oil and gas or chemical industry.
  • Understand the process of power plants, oil & gas plants, Desalination plants and pulp & paper plants.
  • Preference for the people having oil and gas experience.
  • Understand the basics of control valve and applications.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Need to be a good team player.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power point and other Windows applications)
  • General working knowledge of power stations desirable.
