Description
- Review complete customer enquiry of technical and commercial specifications.
- Responsible for accurate sizing, design selection, and error free proposal preparation.
- Determine competitor sizing and product information for strategy development.
- Confers with manufacturing team to assure processes, techniques and time schedule will meet customer needs.
- Preparation of the project costing in detail.
- Handling technical and commercial queries from customer.
- Coordinates with customers, Outside Sales, Sales Representatives to convince customer of the value addition on purchasing the solutions offered.
- Upon receipt of order, transfer of complete project details (CORB) post order to PM and assist in post order technical issues.
- Update Sales tools (Salesforce) on regular basis.
Desired skills
- Experience in technical sales, preferably control valves or other mechanical related equipment; or one to two years related experience either in power plant, oil and gas or chemical industry.
- Understand the process of power plants, oil & gas plants, Desalination plants and pulp & paper plants.
- Preference for the people having oil and gas experience.
- Understand the basics of control valve and applications.
- Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Need to be a good team player.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power point and other Windows applications)
- General working knowledge of power stations desirable.
