Your Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to drive business growth across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while developing targeted go-to-market strategies for key industries such as Automotive, Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, and Pharma.
Actively generate new leads and manage prospecting activities to maintain a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations with decision-makers at various levels to successfully close new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction, retention, and additional growth potential.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, including participation in tenders, preparation of quotations, and contract negotiations.
Work closely with Tender Management and Operations teams to develop tailored logistics solutions that meet customer requirements.
Ensure competitive pricing strategies, accurate cost calculations, and sustainable margin management.
Monitor market developments, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports using CRM systems to support data-driven decision-making.
Represent the company at trade fairs, networking events, and customer visits across the DACH region.
Collaborate with internal teams such as Tender Management, Product Management, Operations, and Finance to ensure successful project execution and excellent customer service.
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Sales or Business Development within the logistics or freight forwarding industry
- Proven track record in developing new business and managing key accounts within the DACH region
- Experience with tender management, pricing models, and contract negotiations in B2B logistics
- Familiarity with international logistics processes (Road, Air, Ocean, Rail) and related customer requirements.
- Language skills: fluent in English and German / additional language skills are welcome
- Solid understanding of international transport and logistics operations
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to present complex logistics solutions in a clear and compelling way
