Our client is currently seeking a Compliance Manager to join their legal and compliance team in Hong Kong.

The Role:

• Collaborate closely with business units to design standard operating procedures in line with the organisation's compliance framework.
• Offer guidance and support to business units in developing compliance plans and activities.
• Conduct assessments and reviews of business operations to identify legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Identify compliance areas and provide training to business units about the organisation's compliance obligations.
• Compile reports to deliver results of compliance efforts to management.
• Monitor actions and escalate where appropriate.

Qualifications:

• A degree in law, business, or related fields.
• 8+ years of experience in legal and compliance departments, preferably in corporate or consulting firms with expertise in risk assessment and business process mapping.
• Experience in compliance, legal, ethics, governance, or similar roles within corporate organizations, particularly in sectors such as Conglomerate, Property, Consumer, or Hospitality.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese (oral and written).
• The capability to analyse legal and regulatory requirements and convey obligations to BU staff and management.
