Joining us as a Salesforce Platform Lead

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping a key enterprise platform, taking ownership of Salesforce and driving its strategic direction, governance, and ongoing evolution. Acting as the organisation’s Salesforce expert, you’ll lead platform design, product ownership, and delivery governance — translating architectural principles into scalable, business-aligned solutions.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Owning and shaping the end-to-end Salesforce platform strategy and roadmap, driving its evolution across the organisation
  • Leading the design and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions across Salesforce core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Platform)
  • Acting as the Salesforce Product Owner, driving prioritisation, backlog management, and measurable business value
  • Providing technical leadership across architecture, integrations, data models, and automation to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions
  • Driving multi-team delivery across internal teams and partners, ensuring quality, consistency, and seamless releases
  • Championing innovation through AI, automation, and integration (e.g. Einstein, APIs, MuleSoft), while ensuring platform performance, security, and reliability

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll bring a blend of strategic leadership, product ownership and deep Salesforce technical expertise, with the ability to influence direction while delivering at scale. You’ll also have:

  • Proven experience operating in a senior Salesforce leadership role (Platform Lead, Architect or Product Owner), driving strategy and delivery in a complex environment
  • Deep expertise across Salesforce core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience) with strong knowledge of platform architecture, data models, security, and automation (Flows, APIs)
  • Strong technical capability in integrations and enterprise architecture, including APIs, MuleSoft, and event-driven design
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-team delivery, setting development standards, and ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions
  • Commercial and product mindset, with experience managing backlogs, prioritisation, and delivering measurable business value
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders while championing governance, data quality, and innovation (including AI capabilities such as Einstein)

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field
  • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Business Analyst Certification
  • SAFe POPM (Product Owner/Product Manager)
