About the Role:
The Systems Analyst role involves tech support style tasks as well as code maintenance and creation. The tasks require a high degree of problem solving, analysis and attention to detail. Helpdesk and programming skills are required to succeed in this role.
What you will be doing:
- Software support for finance branch systems (Databasics, NetSuite)
- Password and account administration for all MNO staff (Databasics, NetSuite, NetSuite Planning and Budgeting)
- Assisting in the implementation of new finance branch software for both finance branch specific and interbranch related systems
- Maintenance and creation of Python (Pandas) code for analytics and reporting and maintenance and creation of VBA code for Excel macros for both experienced and new Excel users
- Contribute to the review and improvement of internal processes
- IT helpdesk support as workload permits
- Providing backup support for other team members
- Promotes the values of the organization within the workplace and in the community by demonstrating positive and professional relationships with others (employees, citizens, council, volunteers, advocates, etc.)
- Reports all unsafe conditions, hazards or practices, accidents and incidents in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and adheres to all Health and Safety requirements within the MNO’s policies and procedures and provincial legislation.
- Performs other job/branch-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. Computer Science)
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- Experience in Python (specifically Pandas) and VBA coding
- Demonstrated experience dealing with confidential information
- High degree of technology literacy and proficiency in standard office equipment (with preferred expertise in Python, VBA, Excel)
- Superior organization skills and time/priority-management
- Highly detail-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to work alone/independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Databasics, NetSuite or similar software
- Previous experience in a helpdesk role
- Experience with SQL, C#, JavaScript, ASP.net, REST or desire to learn
