Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Account Executive to join our growing team. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting our strategic growth by developing and managing sales initiatives, driving sales volume, and optimizing product mix within assigned territories and accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably in the corrugated or paper industry, and a proven track record of exceeding goals while maintaining and growing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within assigned accounts or territories
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing customers
- Secure and maintain the distribution of company products and services
- Collaborate with internal design teams to improve current packaging solutions and develop custom solutions to meet client needs
- Create and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities through lead generation and qualification efforts
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and on-site visits to foster relationships and identify opportunities
- Coordinate with the Company Managment to assess opportunities for improvement in strategy, procedures, and customer engagement
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales tactics accordingly
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of successful outside sales experience
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure
- Excellent time management, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage sensitive or complex accounts with discretion and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred but not necessary
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corrugated materials, packaging, or paper products sales
- Deep understanding of the corrugated packaging industry, materials, and customer applications
- Existing relationships within the packaging and manufacturing sectors are highly desirable
