Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our team; Core Network Infrastructure (CNI). We require an experienced Business Analyst, with analytical skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to problems.
You’ll have the opertunity to help shape the network that underpins Nationwide and to be involved in the project work that helps remove end of service life technologies and impliment new solutions.

This is a 12-month secondment opportunity.

What you’ll be doing
Working with the Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager you will be responsible for helping ensure projects land sucessfully.
You will be responsible for conducting process work, this will include reviewing or documenting existing processes and developing future process maps, documentation and user guides to meet the needs of our customers.
You will deliver explicit, quantifiable and testable requirements through the elicitation, documentation, validation and management of requirements. You will manage changes in requirements or processes, ensuring alignment to priorities and other relevant change initiatives. You will maintain the traceability of business requirements to solutions, with the status and ownership communicated to relevant stakeholders.
You will provide timely updates to the Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager with estimates, progress, updates to plan, risks, issues, and quality assessments such as peer reviews.
As CNI has a small BA community it is a great opportunity to demonstrate your abilities, however it is also key you collaborate with colleagues across the BA community within Nationwide.
About you
As a minimum requirement, you’ll have:
Proven experience of requirements definition and business modelling on various initiatives
Degree or equivalent experience with some experience of working with a Business Analyst role demonstrating business analysis and solution design experience
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to challenge and influence where required
Ability to understand technical discussions and issues and translate for a business audience and vice-versa
Ability to translate business requirements and detailed content into operating priorities
Ability to be curious, have a willingness to learn and experiment, have a growth mindset, be adaptable and have growing problem solving skills
