On Behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Techops Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support business and operational projects.

• Maintain availability, scalability, and monitoring of systems.

• Resolve technical issues within SLAs and prevent reoccurrence.

• Conduct system testing, identify bugs, and liaise with engineering teams.

• Research and experiment with new technologies.

• Plan and execute disaster recovery tests and backup procedures.

• Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong system performance monitoring and database knowledge.

• Scripting/programming to automate processes and improve efficiency.

• Java application support and administration of Oracle, PL/SQL, UNIX/Linux.

• Understanding of microservices architecture and TCP/IP fundamentals.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years in system engineering or DevOps.

• Strong Linux experience; RDBMS knowledge is an asset.

• Agile project experience is an advantage.
