Description

Position Summary:

The Product Manager is responsible for managing the lifecycle of assigned products from concept through production, launch, and end-of-life. This role serves as the liaison between customers, sales, engineering, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet market needs, quality standards, profitability goals, and operational requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle, including new product development, product enhancements, and product discontinuation.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer assessments to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop product specifications and production requirements.
  • Define product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and profitability targets.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through product development and launch processes.
  • Monitor product performance, sales trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare business cases, forecasts, and product performance reports for leadership.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts through product training, technical information, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with new product development and product lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and production planning.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Strong financial acumen, including pricing and profitability analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and product management tools.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.

  • This position is an office-based position. The noise level is usually moderate. However the position does enter the manufacturing/warehouse portion of the facility where the noise level is louder and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required.
