Position Title: Data Scientist
Location: Johannesburg (Hybrid - 1-2 days on-site per week)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyse customer data to uncover trends, optimize processes, and enhance customer service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Lead the development and implementation of automation solutions to meet business objectives.
• Design predictive models to improve response times and customer satisfaction.
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement and lead data-driven initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of various initiatives and campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.).
• 2-4 years of experience in data analytics and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, R, or similar tools for data mining and predictive modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate insights effectively.
• A passion for data, with the ability to clean, structure, and interpret complex datasets.
