Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Development M&A Intern to support our Corporate Development team. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to the M&A process, including research, analysis, and strategic planning. You will work closely with senior team members to assist in identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets, performing due diligence, and supporting integration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential acquisition targets
  • Build financial models or analyses to help assess opportunities, including valuation analyses and pro forma projections
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and other key deliverables for internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct market & company research and industry analysis to support M&A initiatives
  • Support the due diligence process by gathering and organizing relevant information
  • Help track and manage ongoing M&A projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of M&A activities
  • Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Development team as needed (acquisition pipeline management / reporting),

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with M&A processes, corporate finance, and valuation techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with financial software or databases is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A high level of professionalism, integrity, and a proactive attitude
