Business Office Manager - Full Time

Spring Creek Care Center - Millcreek, Utah

What you'll do:

  • Manages census accuracy by maintaining up-to-date insurance information
  • Oversees resident trust accounts and related financial records
  • Leads and coordinates the 10A process, including documentation and meetings
  • Participates in AR (Accounts Receivable) and UR (Utilization Review) meetings
  • Manages Medicaid processes, including pending cases and billing
  • Oversees private pay accounts, co-pays, and share of cost collections
  • Bills, collects, and follows up on current and past due accounts
  • Processes daily financial deposits
  • Verifies insurance benefits and obtains therapy authorizations
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum one year of business office or collections experience required (skilled nursing preferred)
  • Experience with PointClickCare highly preferred
  • High school diploma required
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, Hospice) required
  • Positive attitude with willingness to learn and contribute new ideas
  • Ability to travel to corporate offices, banks, and other facilities as needed
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 25-50 lbs. unassisted
  • Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases
  • Adequate vision and hearing (with or without assistive devices) to perform duties
  • Meets facility health requirements as outlined in policy
