Description
Welcome to KIDS ABA Services,
At KIDS ABA Services, our team changes the lives of children and families across Arkansas every single day. We take excellent care of our clients, and we want someone whose whole job is to take great care of the people who do that work.
We already have a strong foundation, now we're looking for our a dedicated HR Manager to elevate it: smoother hiring, a warmer welcome for every new teammate, and a culture that makes great people want to stay. This is a rare chance to own and grow a people function from the ground up and to step into a leadership title while you do it.
Our company benefits:
- Medical, dental & vision
- 401(k) & Company match
- Paid time off
- Paid holidays
- Parental leave
- Certification reimbursement
- High level of professional development
Qualifications
What you'll do:
- Own our hiring. Run full-cycle recruiting for our RBTs, BTs, and BCBAs — partnering with clinic managers who help you screen, so you keep great candidates moving.
- Welcome every new hire. Build an onboarding experience that feels warm and organized, and keep certifications, background checks, and renewals on track.
- Be the person people trust. Answer questions, resolve conflicts early and fairly, and protect a respectful, positive workplace.
- Make people want to stay. Lead recognition, engagement, and the everyday things that drive real retention — the heart of this role.
- Keep us solid. Administer benefits, coordinate payroll (Paycom), and own HR compliance (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO, and Arkansas law).
- Shape how we work. Refine the handbook, policies, and onboarding to reflect the culture we're proud of.
Required
- 2+ years of HR experience (generalist, coordinator, or specialist) and ready to step up into a manager role
- Working knowledge of employment-law basics (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO)
- Hands-on hiring and onboarding experience
- Strong organization, communication, and discretion
- Comfort with HRIS/payroll software (Paycom a plus)
- Bachelor's in HR or business — or equivalent experience
Preferred (a plus, not required)
- HR experience in healthcare, ABA, childcare, or high-volume hiring
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Experience building or improving HR processes
- A genuine love for people and culture work
Why you'll love it here:
This is more than a job — it's a chance to build something.
- Real ownership. You won't inherit someone else's playbook — you'll write it, with a leadership team that backs you.
- A title that grows with you. Step into a Manager role and grow as the company grows.
- Work that matters. Every great hire you make and keep means better care for a child who needs it.
- A leadership team that gets it. Our co-founder is a practicing BCBA — supporting our people isn't a slogan here, it's how we operate.
