Job Overview

Gathers financial information, analyzes them, and prepares financial reports that contribute to the plant's strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Maintain and update standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Perform cost roll-ups for bill of materials (BOM) and routing updates.
  • Analyze and report on purchase price variances (PPV), usage variances, and manufacturing variances.
  • Support cost per unit analysis.
  • Monitor and validate inventory transactions (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods) in SAP.
  • Reconcile inventory balances and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support physical inventory counting and cycle counting activities.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Production teams to improve inventory accuracy

What your background should look like

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Possess strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory or cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP) systems
  • Possess strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong ability to give attention to detail and to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
  • With strong communication and analytical skills
  • Has a strong ability to work individually or in a team setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
