Alegra Group is seeking an experienced **Kubernetes Architect** for a high-impact project with a **global leader in electronics and manufacturing**. The role involves designing a **disconnected edge architecture** using **K3S** on **bare metal infrastructure**, supporting next-generation industrial systems.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative edge computing solutions deployed in large-scale, high-performance environments.
## Tasks
* Architect and implement a highly available, disconnected edge Kubernetes platform using **K3S**.
* Design and configure **Kubernetes storage**, **networking**, and **CNI plugins** for robust, scalable clusters.
* Manage deployments with **Rancher** and enable GitOps workflows using **ArgoCD**.
* Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to develop resilient solutions for **bare metal environments**.
* Support testing, documentation, and tuning for production-grade edge setups.
## Requirements
* 10–15 years of experience in systems architecture, with deep expertise in **Kubernetes (K3S)** and **bare metal deployments**.
* Hands-on experience with **Rancher**, **ArgoCD**, and Kubernetes networking/storage stacks.
* Strong programming or scripting skills in **Python** and/or **Golang**.
* Familiar with virtualization, edge computing, and air-gapped environments.
* Proactive mindset, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent collaboration abilities.
