Description
This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans for the Malaysia and Brunei markets. This role requires a focus on identifying, developing, and capitalizing on both new and existing business opportunities to drive growth and achieve organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Actively develop the Malaysia & Brunei market and promote Interwell products and services
- Build and maintain a network of key clients
- Market and present well intervention solutions to customers
- Visit new and existing clients regularly, including some Domestic and International travel
- Identify potential clients, contacts and strategic partners in your area of operation
- Be updated on customers’ plans and strategies
- Maintain an awareness of competitor activity and pricing
- Develop, coordinate and participate in client hospitality plans, in conjunction with Sales Manager
- Support marketing activities, both initial sales and after sales promotion, including Client Presentations
- Respond and follow up sales enquiries by telephone, e-mail and personal visits
- Preparation of sales quotations and tenders in coordination with Sales Manager
- Work with Country Manager, ASEAN to keep sales pipeline/ forecaster updated
- Update ERP system with correct information within Business Opportunities and Quoting module
- Ensure quotes are sent from agents to quotes in a timely manner
- To be responsible for collation of data for invoice preparation
- Carry out Market research in areas defined in co-operation with Sales Manager
- Maintain an awareness of new product lines
- Participate in developing sales & business development plans and budget
- Adhere to company and external health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
- Attend training and/to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and personal commitment to Interwell policies
Requirements
- Proven track record of working within a strategic business development or sales role
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of downhole tools.
- Organised and able to carry out multiple tasks in parallel.
- Able to work on own and with others.
- Service minded.
- Excellent IT Skills
- Able to travel regularly, domestic and international
