Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a major transformation program within the insurance sector. The role focuses on business process transformation, implementation of a new core system, and driving strategic change across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, IT teams, and external vendors while leveraging modern technologies, including AI-powered tools, to improve analysis, decision-making, and solution design.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the transformation of key business processes and products related to the implementation of a new core system
  • Gather, analyze, structure, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into IT solutions
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to support analysis, documentation, solution design, and process optimization
  • Identify opportunities for automation and innovative technology adoption
  • Propose and evaluate business and technical solutions to support business objectives
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions
  • Coordinate collaboration between business teams, IT teams, architects, data specialists, and external vendors
  • Support solution design activities and contribute to the target-state architecture together with business and IT architects
  • Participate in testing, implementation, and change management activities
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, Business Analyst, or Process Analyst
  • Strong ability to gather, analyze, structure, and document requirements
  • Experience working on system implementation, transformation, or process improvement projects
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services sector
  • Practical experience using AI tools to support analytical work, documentation, or process optimization
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, business processes, and modern technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business and IT teams
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Professional proficiency in Czech and English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with core system implementation projects
  • Knowledge of BPMN, UML, or other process modeling methodologies
  • Experience working with solution or enterprise architects
  • Experience with automation and digital transformation initiatives
