Job Title: Costume Character

Reports to: Front End Manager

Location: On-Site Food Store

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Hourly/Part-Time $16.50

Job Summary:

The Costume Character provides entertainment to customers and their children while they shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wear the required costume and walk the store floor greeting children and customers
• Provide high fives and photo opportunities, at the request of the child(ren)
• Be aware of reaction of child(ren)
• Attend each scheduled birthday party
• Attend special events, as required (Halloween Trick-or-Treating, Egg Hunt, Christmas Tree lighting, etc)
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Other duties, as assigned

Education and Experience (include knowledge, skills and abilities):

• Entry level position; no prior experience required
• Great customer service
• Good oral communication

Working Conditions:

• Requires prolonged wearing of costume; 2 hours at a time and can be excessively warm.
