ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Meet or Exceed weekly sales goals for telephone solicitation, site inspections
  • Provide excellent, consistent, personal services to clients prior, during and with follow-up after each event
  • Personally, greet on-site contact to assure all needs and last-minute needs are met
  • Be current with all market related publications in order to stay on topo of all industry trends and uncover any potential leads.
  • Submit weekly and monthly booking reports in a time manner
  • Maintain all files with current trace dates, accurate histories and all relevant information regarding booking activity
  • Promote a high-quality company image by demonstrating professionalism to both clients and colleagues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, event planners, and corporate clients to drive repeat business
  • Create customized catering and event packages to meet client needs and ensure revenue targets are met

Qualifications


















 

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree in hospitality management, business, marketing or a related field.   

 

EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of experience in catering/banquet sales or event planning in the hospitality industry.  

 

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license. Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Able Liquor License.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Ability to maneuver in the casino and routinely lift up 25 pounds and occasionally as much as 60 pounds. Must be able to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours and maneuver in or outside the casino. Visual acuity to observe and react to handle internal and external customer complaints or questions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to bend, kneel, twist and stretch/reach above head. Have good dexterity in fingers

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Work in casino operations containing second hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
