We are currently seeking a Head of Cyber Security Architecture & Engineering , reporting directly to the CISO to join our Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering team based in Nanterre , Paris, France.

Context: The Head of Cyber Security Architecture & Engineering defines and supports the implementation of the Information and Cyber Security Architecture, covering both IT and OT (Operational Technology) domains. This role is pivotal in establishing a resilient security foundation that safeguards the organization’s infrastructure, applications, data assets and ensure that Business Project, Products and Services are properly secured in line with client’s requirements and best practices. The position ensures that all technological solutions adhere to the highest security standards, policies, and industry’s best practices, fostering a security-first culture within the organization best practices. This position reports to the Chief Information Security Officer within Digiteam.
Principal missions:
Cybersecurity Architecture
Is responsible for defining, developing and maintaining the cyber security technical architecture across the entire organization including both internal infrastructure and solutions and those Technip Energies provides to the customers
Evolve cyber security architecture to ensure adequate coverage to the ever-evolving threat landscape in line the company risk appetite
Lifecycle Management of cyber security solutions and platforms
Design, specify, and oversee the deployment of technical security solutions across diverse domains including Network Security, Application Security, AI Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, and OT Security
Act as a product owner for cybersecurity solutions, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring solutions meet organizational needs and compliance requirements
Identify, evaluate, and orchestrate the deployment of cutting-edge security platforms and tools, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, modernization, and automation of security solutions to stay ahead of evolving threats
Collaborate with stakeholders to embed security by design into new projects
Technical Security Assessments & Risk Management
Conduct comprehensive technical security assessments (Cyber Security Review) for internal projects, platforms, and solutions to verify compliance with security policies and industry standards
Identify security weaknesses, recommend mitigations, and oversee remediation efforts to reduce organizational risk
Develop and promote the Secure by Design methodology to ensure that cyber security principles and best practices are embedded within the design and delivery phase of IT products lifecycle
Provide technical support and guidance to Information Security in Business Project (ISinBP) team in the assessment and implementation phase
Support incident response and forensic investigations by providing expert technical guidance when and if needed
Innovation & Thought Leadership
Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, translating insights into actionable strategies
Promote a security-aware culture through training, awareness programs, and collaboration with other technical departments within and outside Digiteam (IT)
Profile:
Competences
10+ years in senior role in managing Cyber Security architecture, cyber security engineering teams or equivalent experience
Master’s in cyber security, Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering or equivalent academic title is preferred
Cyber security specific certifications such as CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISM are considered a plus
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, solutions, and best practices across IT and OT environments
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term security strategies aligned with organizational objectives
Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks concerning IT and OT infrastructure and solutions
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing security vendors and collaborating with cross-functional teams and executive leadership
Regulatory & Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant standards (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443, etc.) and compliance requirements
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a technical team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
Experience with coaching and performance management, including establishing measurable goals, providing constructive feedback, and controlling staff fatigue.
Leadership, influence & Collaboration: Coordinate cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders and drive security initiatives at all levels.
