Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Respiratory Care for the Care at Home Group provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership in support of high-quality respiratory services. This role helps oversee daily department operations, staffing, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives across the care continuum. Serving as a key liaison among respiratory care staff, physicians, nursing leadership, and administrative teams, the Assistant Director helps ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered, and cost-effective care. This position also supports staff development, process improvement, and the implementation of department goals aligned with organizational priorities.

 

Who Should Apply:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, Respiratory Care, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of respiratory care experience, including 2+ years in management.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist required.
  • Current state Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE as applicable.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License, preferably with no points.

Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
