Job Responsibilities / Job Brief
Senior role in the Polymer Legal Team. Key responsibilities will include:
- Review and negotiate trading and financing documentation.
- Review and negotiate general commercial contracts across the firm
- Provide legal advice to key stakeholders across the group
- Participate in our continued business expansion and new initiatives
Requirements
- J.D. / Bachelor of Laws degree from an accredited university
- Professional legal qualification from US or common law jurisdiction
- Technical knowledge of prime brokerage, equity derivatives and APAC market structure
- 7-12 years of post-qualification experience in financial services. In-house experience at an investment bank or hedge fund is helpful.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Good to have
- Knowledge of financial markets and asset management industry
- Familiarity with employment law
- Spoken and written Mandarin and Cantonese
