Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves spearheading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects by coordinating efforts across teams and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and ensuring that the software solutions align with project goals and client requirements. Collaboration with various stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications is a key aspect of the daily workflow, alongside continuous monitoring and refinement of the software to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark.
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing concepts and big data processing frameworks.
- Experience in optimizing PySpark jobs for performance and scalability.
- Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code in PySpark.
- Familiarity with data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline orchestration using PySpark.
- Understanding of cloud platforms and their integration with PySpark applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PySpark.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
